I have been repeatedly reading stories in the past couple of weeks about the deaths of detainees in our prisons. There is an article about just this subject.

"Extraordinary rendition" has hardly been mentioned so far. Everyone seems to be obsessed with waterboarding which is only the tip of the iceberg. There is a report obtained by the ACLU under the Freedom of Information Act that indicates the deaths of three detainees at our prison in Bagram, Afghanistan, the direct result of torture. For those who would defend waterboarding, I would ask the question, is the murder of prisoners not considered a breach of our laws??
And what about the prisoners who are MISSING? The Red Cross has been unable to locate some 3 dozen. Their families have no knowledge of their whereabouts. I would suggest that some of these missing people are dead as a result of torture, and that their deaths have been covered up.
This situation is far uglier that most Americans know about!!! We need the mainstream media to do their jobs. Americans deserve to know what atrocities have been committed in our names!!!
E-mail the President here at WWW.WHITEHOUSE.GOV and demand an investigation!
